Tarot Cards
Tarot cards are a popular divinatory method, under the heading of “cartomancy”, or the use of cards to tell the future or to tap into the unconscious mind. Tarot readers do not always read the future with the cards; tarot cards are also used to help shed light on a past situation, interpret dreams, and to tap into your unconscious mind to help you understand more about yourself.
Skeptics have dismissed tarot reading in all its forms (save for, perhaps, collecting the cards for their beauty) due to the fact that tarot reading cannot be proven, and there are plenty of people who use tarot cards to scam money.
That being said, there are also plenty of tarot readers who truly want to help people through the use of cards. My advice is to use your instincts: if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
